Ashiatsu (Ask for Sarah)

A massage technique in which the therapist delivers deep, consistent pressure with their feet to release fascia and relieve tight muscles.

Cupping Therapy

Cups are placed on the skin creating a light suction. The therapist may strategically place the cups in certain areas or glide them over the tissue to promote blood flow, reduce inflammation, release soft tissue and fascia, and provide therapeutic benefits. Cupping is commonly used for pain relief and relaxation, and may leave temporary circular marks on the skin due to the suction.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue therapy is always applied within the comfort level of the individual, and is a general term for modalities involving deep pressure. These techniques can greatly improve conditions which cause muscle spasms and chronic pain.

Therapeutic grade essential oils are combined with specialized massage techniques to stimulate and support the lymphatic system. Choose the specific lymphatic drainage massage for your desired treatment goal. Therapeutic, post surgical, sculpting, or facial lymphatic drainage massage.

Medical/Therapeutic Massage

Session may include myofascial release (deep gliding techniques designed to release adhesions), deep tissue massage (a general term for deep pressure), cupping therapy, trigger point therapy (sustained pressure designed to release muscle spasms), PNF stretching (technique designed to increase range of motion), hot/cold therapy, lymphatic massage, and relaxation techniques. Therapeutic massage can improve circulation, lower blood pressure, relieve muscle spasms and pain, increase flexibility and range of motion, and shorten recovery time after trauma and surgery. These techniques can be very effective in the treatment of conditions causing chronic pain such as fibromyalgia, headaches, TMJ dysfunction (TMJD), neck strains, rotator cuff injuries, shoulder pain, back pain, muscle pain from scoliosis, hip pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, and foot pain. Massage therapists do not diagnose, so always consult your doctor before receiving medical massage.

Prenatal Massage

Our body support system allows mom to comfortably lie face up, face down, and on her side. Relieve aching muscles, decrease stress, and increase circulation.

Raindrop Therapy (ask for Sarah)

A variety of essential oils are massaged into the muscles along the spine. This soothing technique combines massage, reflexology, a hot towel treatment, and aromatherapy.

Reflexology

Foot reflexology is the stimulation of reflex points on the feet that correlate to every organ, gland, and part of the body. When pressure is applied to specific reflex points, it allows the body to return to balance or homeostasis.

Sports Massage

Therapy aiding athletes in injury prevention and rehabilitation. Sports massage may include various medical/therapeutic massage techniques.

Swedish Massage

Relaxation massage designed to relieve muscle tension, decrease stress, increase circulation, and decrease blood pressure. This technique is the basis for any therapeutic massage.

Also known as Thai Yoga Massage, this technique combines assisted yoga with stretching and compression.

TMJ Therapy

Ideal for those suffering with jaw pain, stiffness, head pain, and neck pain, this therapy uses specific techniques to release the inner jaw muscles as well as the outer jaw, neck, and head.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger points are hypersensitive or painful areas in the muscle or surrounding tissue. This pain can be localized or can refer to other areas of the body. Treatment includes sustained pressure to the affected area, and is usually integrated into a deep tissue or relaxation massage.
